Your leadership will help maintain a smooth workflow, uphold clinical standards, and foster a friendly and welcoming environment for our patients. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and organized. Responsibilities Lead chairside assisting during general dentistry procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Manage dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention protocols. Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality and medical documentation standards. Oversee patient management software systems like Eaglesoft, and other EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to accurately update medical records and facilitate seamless patient flow and record clinical notes. Train and mentor team members in dental assisting techniques, infection control practices, and the use of dental x-ray technology to ensure consistent quality care. Ordering dental supplies. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a strong background in general dentistry; previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and dental procedures across various specialties such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques, including digital radiography and 3D imaging technology. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control practices including sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in clinical documentation and medical records. Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to patient care and team collaboration.
