The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the dental team, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering exceptional patient care. This leadership position requires a strong background in dental assisting, with a focus on clinic management, patient communication, and clinical support. The Lead Dental Assistant will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of hygiene, organization, and efficiency within the practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the dental assisting team, providing guidance and support. Ensure all clinical equipment is properly maintained, sterilized, and ready for use. Prepare treatment rooms before appointments, including setting up instruments and materials. Educate patients on oral health care and post-treatment instructions with professionalism and empathy. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations. Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize clinic flow and reduce wait times. Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and ordering necessary materials. Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members to promote professional development. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a strong background in clinical procedures. Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a dental clinic is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members. Knowledge of dental software systems and recordkeeping practices. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care. Certification or licensing as required by local regulations is highly desirable.
