What We Offer Competitive compensation package Supportive work environment with modern facilities and advanced technology Opportunities for mentorship and career growth A diverse patient population and rewarding clinical experiences Responsibilities Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable — before, during, and after their appointment — about their treatment and oral health Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment Provide chair-side assistance to providers during treatment procedures Document orthodontic care services by charting in patients' records Assist the orthodontist in assessing a patient's teeth and implementing a plan to straighten them Perform routine orthodontic duties, including cleaning and adjusting orthodontic gear Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook) Requirements Six (6) or more months of practical experience as an orthodontic assistant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred) Quick learner with problem-solving skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in fitting bands and brackets, tying in arch wires, and taking consistent, accurate impressions Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player Commitment to being punctual and reporting to work on time Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth Organized, with a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology Join Our Team If you're ready to take your orthodontics career to the next level and join a dynamic team committed to excellence, we want to hear from you! by submitting your CV/resume and an optional cover letter outlining why you're the perfect fit for this position.
