Job Overview We are a busy general dental office seeking an enthusiastic, efficient dental assistant with a great team player attitude and excellent communication skills. Our focus is on providing high-quality dental care in a caring environment. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, setting up OPS for treatment, preparing materials, rooming patients, taking x-rays, charting in Eaglesoft, assisting chairside during dental procedures and the sterilization practices. We are seeking a full-time hire that is available 3 days a week from 8AM to 4PM and Fridays from 8AM to 2PM. Pay will be based on relevant experience. Duties Set operatory up for proper procedure. Seat patients and review medical history. Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Take dental X-rays and 3D scans. Document patient records accurately using patient management software in Eaglesoft. Preform infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments, and disinfecting operatories Provide patients with post-operative instructions following dental treatment Take digital impressions and tradional impressions if necessary. Make temporary crowns. Experience High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry, or oral surgery environments, but we are willing to train! Proficiency with Eaglesoft is preferred, but not necessary. Knowledge of infection control standards and utilization. Familiarity with dental equipment operations including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures will support your success in this role. Excellent communication skills. CPR certification
Pay:
$22.50 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
