Job Description

Partnership is growing again! We have new Dentists and need Dental Assisting support at the Appleton and Oshkosh Clinics! We have 3 full-time dental assistant positions available in Oshkosh and 3 in Appleton due to growth. Full time dental assistants receive 3 weeks PTO in the first year, as well as 8 paid holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, HSA, 403b with matching and more! MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an Accredited Dental Assistant program and/or experience equivalent. Able to earn and maintain BLS certification
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Obtain health histories for review by the dentist and document oral examinations in Dentrix. 2. Receive and prepare patients for treatment including taking and incorporating digital x-rays into software program, seating, chair positioning, napkin placement, provide patient safety devices. 3. Perform coronal polishing and fluoride application, and provide patient instructions pre- and post-operative. 4. Follow all safety engineering practices, including use of lead aprons, PPE hazardous and infectious product handling, sharps handling, curing light exposure, and
MSDS/OSHA
knowledge and understanding. 5. Maintain an inventory of dental and office supplies. Place orders when necessary as directed by the Dental Coordinator to ensure that these items are stocked in sufficient quantity. 6. Attend staff meetings of the dental unit and/or PCHC meetings that have relevance to dental staff. 7. Follow accepted dental procedures in the preparing and post-treatment cleanup of dental equipment and operatories, including hard surface disinfection. 8. Cross-train to Patient Services duties, including but not limited to, verification of insurance, patient check in, and appointment confirmation. 9. Maintain strict confidentiality. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.

$20.04 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:
Dental Assisting education or: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
Dental Assistant certificate from an accredited school (Preferred)
