Job Description

Dental Assistant•Experience Welcome, Paid Training Available Experienced dental assistant—or interested in beginning a hands-on career in dentistry? We'd love to meet you. Acacia Lane Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our established three-dentist practice in Rhinelander. We have a newly remodeled office and a friendly, experienced team that works hard, supports one another, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. Previous dental assisting experience is welcomed and valued, but it is not required. For someone who is dependable, kind, organized, and eager to learn, we are willing to provide paid, hands-on training. We can teach the clinical skills. We are looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, a genuine desire to care for patients, and a collaborative approach to working with the rest of our team. What You'll Do Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Assist our dentists chairside during a variety of procedures Take dental radiographs after training Follow sterilization and infection-control procedures Assist with charting, documentation, and patient communication Help keep the clinical area organized and patient care running smoothly Work closely with our dentists, assistants, hygienists, and administrative team If You're New to Dental Assisting You do not need previous dental experience to apply. Your paid training will include dental terminology, room setup, sterilization, instruments and materials, radiographs, charting, patient care, and chairside assisting. Experience in healthcare, caregiving, hospitality, customer service, or another fast-paced, people-focused role may transfer especially well to dental assisting. You will not be expected to know everything on your first day. We are looking for someone who is dependable, engaged, open to guidance and feedback, and excited to steadily build their skills as a member of our team.
