Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and sealant application Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures Work collaboratively with the dental team to facilitate outstanding patient care Required Skills Proficiency in dental hygiene practices and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle dental instruments safely Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations Comfortable using dental practice management software
