Job Description

DentFirst is seeking Full-Time in our McDonough and Locust Grove locations. Each of our offices is focused on providing a comfortable, convenient, and caring dental experience for our patients. This is a great opportunity to practice in a dental/orthodontic environment. We believe in a high level of patient education and providing an excellent dental experience at each visit. Our staff is motivated, multi-skilled. We offer a team motivated working environment and a competitive salary. Dentfirst Dental Care offers Commission Based Pay as well, we will discuss all possibilities, to grow your patient base. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, bilingual, Spanish speaking a plus with lots of energy. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following; Taking dental radiographs (x-rays) Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Asking about the patient's medical history and updating patient charts. Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment Providing patients with instructions for home care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as SRP Sort and package instruments by tray for proper sterilization, following all OSHA guidelines. Assist in the administration of the recall system, when required. Complete weekly/monthly clinic logs, including hand piece log & autoclave log Communicating with patients and suppliers, when necessary (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies) Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery.
