Registered Dental Hygienist Polishing Full Job Description Job Summary:

• Sundays are a must, hours are 11-4 but flexible if needed, can do alternating Sundays to start
• you do not need to take x-rays, the assistants take x-rays and turn over the rooms
• We are a modern office seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist during procedures.

Duties:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and providing suction
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
• Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
