We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, root planning, and polishing as permitted by licensure and clinical protocols. Conduct patient assessments and review, update, and document medical and dental histories. Take and process diagnostic dental radiographs in accordance with regulatory requirements and practice standards. Perform periodontal charting and assist in identifying and documenting periodontal conditions. Educate patients regarding oral hygiene practices, preventive care, treatment recommendations, and home care techniques. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Follow OSHA, CDC, and practice infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment necessary for patient care. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to support efficient workflow and quality patient outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current Ohio Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License. Current certification or authorization to expose dental radiographs as required by applicable regulations. Knowledge of dental hygiene practices, periodontal therapy, infection control standards, and HIPAA requirements. Strong communication and patient education skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Experience with Open Dental software preferred but not required. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Frequently stand, sit, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements during patient care activities. Utilize dental instruments and equipment requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity. Occasionally lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds. Work in a clinical environment with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other occupational hazards while using required personal protective equipment. Maintain compliance with infection control and workplace safety standards. Pay:
