6015 W. Forest Home Ave. Unit # 1, Milwaukee, WI 53220 Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate, skilled Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Part-Time Schedule:
1 day per week - Fridays 4-6 hours per day Why Join Us? Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and prophylaxis. Perform fluoride applications and other preventive dental procedures. Provide ongoing maintenance and care for dental implant patients. Perform gross debridement for partial denture patients as permitted by state regulations. Conduct patient consultations and reinforce dentist-recommended treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and strategies for maintaining long-term oral health. Provide clear post-operative instructions and ensure patients understand their recommended care. Support patients throughout their treatment journey by creating a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation in accordance with office protocols. Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and patient safety standards. Collaborate closely with dentists, dental assistants, laboratory professionals, and other team members to support comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. Perform additional duties as needed to support patient care and overall office success.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED Active Dental Hygienist license required Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to provide high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced dental environment Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general, prosthodontic, or specialty dental practice Experience providing hygiene care for dental implant patients Experience with implant maintenance Experience with removable prosthetics or denture patients Experience performing gross debridement Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic patient records Experience working collaboratively with dentists and dental support teams
