This is not a traditional high-pressure private practice or production-driven environment . The focus is on providing excellent patient care and improving access to dental services for the community. The Patients & Mission This role is ideal for a dentist who genuinely enjoys serving patients and understands the importance of accessible healthcare. You'll care for a diverse, predominantly lower-income community, including tribal-affiliated and Latino patients. Spanish-language skills are highly valued , as a significant portion of patients at both locations speak Spanish. Many patients travel significant distances or take time away from work to receive care. We're looking for a dentist who is willing to be flexible and make every patient feel heard, respected, and cared for. What You'll Do As a General Dentist, you will: Provide comprehensive general dental care to patients of all ages Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans Perform restorative and general dentistry procedures Perform longer procedures such as crowns and root canals as appropriate Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, EFDAs, and other providers Refer complex cases when specialty care is appropriate Participate in a collaborative, patient-centered care environment Help improve access to quality dental care for an underserved community
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active, unrestricted California dental license General dentistry skill set Strong commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Spanish fluency is highly valued but not required Must be comfortable serving a diverse, lower-income community Ready for a Better Dental Career?
