Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating complex root canal issues, providing exceptional patient care, and performing advanced endodontic procedures. Your expertise will help preserve natural teeth and improve oral health outcomes for our diverse patient population. Duties Perform comprehensive endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other advanced endodontic treatments with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure instructions clearly to patients. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists such as prosthodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment. Use dental imaging technology effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining proficiency in dental fabrication techniques when necessary. Demonstrate proficiency with practice management software such as Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and record keeping. Engage in patient communication that builds trust, explains procedures thoroughly, and promotes ongoing oral health education. Support the dental team by assisting with general dentistry procedures when needed and participating in continuous professional development. Experience Proven experience performing endodontic procedures within a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging interpretation, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Experience working with pediatric dentistry patients is a plus but not required; however, comfort working with diverse age groups is essential. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws related to medical documentation and patient privacy is mandatory. Prior experience in dental extractions, oral surgery, or implant placement is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to expand your skill set is valued.
