You will be responsible for providing high-quality general dentistry services, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and restorative procedures, all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Deliver comprehensive dental care such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow using practice management software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Provide patient education on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance patient outcomes. Conduct dental fabrication tasks as needed and assist with complex procedures such as dental implants or orthodontic adjustments. Uphold high standards of client communication, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and orthodontics is desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, implants, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques aligned with OSHA standards. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
