Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care to diverse patient populations, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes through expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass general dentistry procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and implant placement. Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with special attention to young patients' needs, including behavior management and age-appropriate care. Execute complex procedures like prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws by accurately documenting medical records and maintaining confidentiality. Communicate effectively with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote understanding and satisfaction. Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization practices and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Utilize practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for scheduling, charting, billing, and medical documentation. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures to continually enhance patient care quality. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental office software platforms like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, and prosthodontics. Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging practices essential for safe practice. Experience caring for pediatric patients with specialized approaches in pediatric dentistry is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure positive patient experiences while adhering to HIPAA standards. $46.63 - $56.16 per hour
