Job Summary Magic Smiles for Kids is looking to hire a full-time Front Desk Assistant to join our team in Lindenhurst! //magicsmiles4kids.com/ Responsibilities Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience Schedule and confirm patient appointments Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Present orthodontic treatment plans once diagnosed and reviewed by clinical staff and provide estimates of treatment costs. Submit any Medicaid Pre-Authorizations pending State requirements. Track Consults and Starts to understand conversion rates and ensure office is achieving the defined metrics. Obtain signed consents, contracts and start documentation in accordance with all clinical and administrative audit requirements. Ensure all documentation is prepared correctly, reflecting any insurance contributions and all documentation is accurate and signed on the date of service. Participate in practice marketing by visiting other dental practices and other promotional activities Qualifications A minimum of 1+ years in the dental industry, preferably in pediatric dentistry Knowledge of dental terminology and dental office procedures Proactive personality with the ability to be flexible and responsive Ability to effectively communicate with patients, doctors, family members, team members and leadership Exceptional organizational skills Must be a team player; able to effectively build strong relationships at all levels of the organization, especially with in-office staff
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
