As a specialist in gum health and supporting structures of the teeth, you will focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing periodontal diseases. Your expertise will help improve patients' oral health, restore confidence, and enhance overall well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care and clinical excellence are at the forefront. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for advanced periodontal procedures and a commitment to delivering exceptional dental care. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gum infections, recession, and bone loss using advanced techniques such as scaling and root planing, flap surgery, and regenerative procedures Perform dental implant placements and related surgical procedures to restore missing teeth and improve oral function Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Utilize digital imaging technology, including medical imaging tools, for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Educate patients on periodontal health, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance strategies Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques to promote patient safety Skills Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to periodontal care Proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed Experience with dental fabrication processes for prosthetics or surgical guides is a plus Strong client communication skills to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize patient comfort and practice productivity Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in a clinical setting Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing expert periodontal care within a supportive team environment.
