Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Assist with food production, ensuring that all meals are prepared in a timely manner. Help train and supervise dietary aides and kitchen staff as needed. Manage time effectively to ensure all meals are served promptly. Participate in regular kitchen inspections to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with bussing dishes and maintaining a clean dining area during meal service. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly within a dietary department. Knowledge of dietetics and special dietary needs is an advantage. Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
