We are currently seeking a compassionate and organized Dietary Aide to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of meals for our residents. Your role is essential in ensuring that residents receive meals that are both nutritious and satisfying, while also adhering to any dietary restrictions. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to the menu and resident dietary needs.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner.
• Ensure proper portion control and presentation of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor food supplies and report any shortages or issues to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the dining areas for meals.
• Interact with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, addressing any dietary concerns or preferences.
• Support the dietary team in other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
