Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a part-time Dietary Aide in an assisted living community, working from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In this vital role, you will support the nutritional needs of our residents by assisting with meal service, food preparation, and sanitation. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences Serve meals efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and serving techniques Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food service utensils through regular sanitation and cleaning routines Support residents during meal times by bussing tables, assisting with tray delivery, and ensuring their dietary needs are met Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy trays or supplies, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Adhere strictly to dietary requirements for residents with special diets or medical conditions, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations such as JCAHO standards Support the dietary department's daily operations by managing time effectively and working collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent service
