Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook in our senior healthcare facility - Chalet Living. Duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment; maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and floors; properly storing clean items; removing trash; and following all food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Works cooperatively with all dietary and kitchen staff to ensure residents receive safe and timely meal service. At Chalet Living we care for our residents like family. Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order. Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety standards. Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures Work effectively as part of a team Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and carrying items. Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order. Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils. Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage. Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, cooking equipment, and silverware. Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
