Role Job Summary:
The PACE Dietary Aide/CNA primarily supports meal preparation, meal service, sanitation, and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas. After assigned dietary responsibilities are completed, the employee may provide supplemental Certified Nurse Aide support in the center, as directed by the PACE Site Director or licensed nursing staff and within the employee's certification, demonstrated competencies, and participant plans of care. Dietary and participant-care assignments will be coordinated to ensure required meal-service duties, food-safety standards, infection-prevention requirements, and participant needs are met. The employee works collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and center staff and maintains participant dignity, safety, and confidentiality in all assigned duties.
Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:
Current Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide or Certified Nurse Aide certification in good standing, as required for assigned duties. Current CPR certification. Current Food Handler certification or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.
