Job Description

Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee therapeutic and regular menus to ensure compliance with physician orders and all applicable federal, state, and company standards. Review menus, recipes, and nutritional analyses to ensure appropriate therapeutic diets and resident nutritional needs are met. Provide clinical oversight for nutrition assessments, admissions, care planning, and resident food preferences to promote optimal nutritional outcomes. Provide regional leadership and support to Dietary Managers and dietary departments, promoting consistent clinical practices, regulatory compliance, and quality resident care. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), Infection Prevention, Weight Management, and interdisciplinary team meetings to improve resident outcomes. Develop and deliver orientation, education, and ongoing training for dietary staff to support regulatory compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition. Must maintain active membership and licensure in the American Dietetic Association, State Dietetic Association and District Dietetic Association Must maintain active state license At least (2) years' experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one (1) years' experience as a registered consulting dietitian to one or more long-term care facilities. Must have a valid resident state driver's license. Must be a Registered Dietician Must be able to travel to all CASA locations across Indiana.
