Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
Assists Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of ed Dietitians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.
Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
ed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by the applicable state.
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
Must be able to read and interpret dining service cost reports, financial data, etc.
Compliance with

Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
Residency within the service area is required.
