Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team with passion, expertise, and strategic insight. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive nursing strategies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Lead and manage nursing staff through effective supervision, mentorship, and personnel management practices. Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient care delivery. Ensure compliance with all state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation requirements. Manage the departmental budget by planning financial resources efficiently and monitoring expenditures. Promote a culture of safety, quality improvement, and patient-centered care across all nursing functions. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish policies that support organizational growth and operational excellence. Provide instructional leadership by guiding staff development initiatives, training programs, and educational opportunities. Foster strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams to enhance communication and coordination of care. Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve clinical outcomes and staff productivity. Qualifications Proven experience in education administration or school experience with a focus on healthcare or nursing education is highly desirable. Demonstrated management skills with a track record of leading teams effectively in complex environments. Extensive knowledge of state-specific education laws related to healthcare training and certification standards. Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational budget management within healthcare settings. Expertise in instructional leadership in education combined with university experience is advantageous. Exceptional personnel management skills including staff supervision, team leadership, and conflict resolution. Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance processes, and compliance standards. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; master's degree or higher in health administration or related field preferred; active RN license required. Experience in leadership roles such as school administrative director or academic leader is beneficial. Pay:
$91,199.05 - $105,000.00 per year
