Experience in the Senior Living Industry a PLUS! Your position's main purpose is to encourage and assist your team to provide compassionate and individualized care to our resident community. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to coach, inspire and supervise other personnel and be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility. Two or more years of staff management preferred. Possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. Previous experience in assisted or supportive living preferred. Strong clinical, assessment and documentation skills required. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, healthcare professionals, government agencies, and the general public. Possess the ability to handle several tasks and respond effectively to unexpected changes, requests, and stressful situations. Must be knowledgeable of medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines. Participate in the orientation of new residents/family members with wellness team Inform team members of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, apartment number, etc. Requisition and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with established procedures. Consult with the resident's physician in providing the resident's care, treatment, rehabilitation, etc., as necessary.
