Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team with strategic vision and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing leadership, demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care, staff development, and organizational growth. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate service. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery within our organization through innovative leadership and organizational expertise. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services and improve patient outcomes across all departments. Oversee staffing, personnel management, and staff supervision to ensure high standards of clinical care and operational efficiency. Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning in accordance with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards to maintain licensure and certification. Provide instructional leadership by fostering professional development, training programs, and ongoing education for nursing staff. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives that promote excellence in patient care. Lead efforts in organizational change management, process improvement, and implementation of best practices within the nursing department. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning among staff members. Skills Proven expertise in strategic planning, organizational management, and budget oversight within healthcare settings. Extensive management experience with personnel supervision, team leadership, and staff development in a clinical environment. Deep understanding of state-specific education laws related to nursing licensure and continuing education requirements. Strong background in healthcare administration with demonstrated success in managing large teams or departments. Experience in instructional leadership in education or training programs for nursing professionals. Ability to lead organizational change initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, executive stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Pay:
$97,754.00 - $126,309.00 per year
