1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a role supporting adult and pediatric imaging in a Level II Trauma Center. Details Work in the CT Tech unit supporting Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, Pediatric Outpatient, ICU, and Level II Trauma Center settings Shifts may include 7A-7P, 7P-7A, 11A-11P, 7A-3P, 11A-7P, 3P-11P, and 11P-7A on a 4x10 hour schedule Rotating weekends and holidays required, including every third weekend No floating or on-call requirements Uses GE and Philips CT equipment along with PACS imaging system Epic charting system required Requirements ARRT CT and BLS certification required License required if applicable Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required Community Hospital experience required Experience in Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, Pediatric Outpatient, and Level II Trauma settings required Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging, including contrast studies Experience with head and neck imaging including carotid, sinus, and trauma head studies Experience with spine, musculoskeletal, and chest imaging including cardiac and vascular studies Skilled in special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols Additional Information Perform CT imaging across a variety of adult and pediatric patient populations Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate differential Navy, grey, or black scrubs required RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and no additional time off can be accommodated after submission First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
