Job Description
General Manager Job Description At Discover Strength, we believe that the most important and rewarding work of our lives is that of leading and managing others. General Manager Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop a team of professional Exercise Physiologists.
- Create a culture of consistent delivery of world-class workouts.
- Inspire excellence in customer service.
- Lead, manage, and drive accountability.
- Deliver world-class workouts as an Exercise Physiologist.
- Engage in local area marketing efforts to drive client introductions.
- Manage the physical plant - be it plumbing or equipment repair. Here is how we do it:
- Start the hiring process.
- Be onboarded through Discover Strength University where you will learn to connect your exercise science background with our proven approach to delivering world-class workouts, and comprehensive leadership and management training.
- Continue to master your craft with a 10-year Growth Plan.
Compensation, Benefits, and Details:
- Expect to earn a minimum of $60k in the first year with bonuses that can push earnings to $70k-$75k. By the third year, expect to earn a minimum of $80k with bonuses that can push earnings to $90k-$95k.
- On your feet, training clients for 15-20 hours per week.
- Comprehensive benefits include free personal training, health insurance stipend, and PTO.
- 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field is required.
- Sales and marketing experience preferred.
