FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist to support our Fitness & Wellness department within Healthcare & Medical Services. In this role, you will design and lead evidence-based fitness programs for older adults, support rehabilitation goals, and promote safe, functional movement. You'll collaborate closely with clinicians to deliver patient-centered care, document outcomes, and educate patients and caregivers. Responsibilities Design and supervise individualized fitness and wellness programs for older adults in healthcare settings Conduct functional fitness and mobility assessments, tracking patient progress over time Collaborate with rehabilitation clinicians to align fitness plans with therapeutic goals Educate patients and caregivers on safe exercise, fall prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with FOX Rehabilitation standards Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence Required Skills Exercise program design Geriatric fitness training Functional movement assessment Vital signs monitoring Safe transfer and mobility techniques Documentation in EMR systems Patient education and counseling Infection control and safety protocols Interdisciplinary team collaboration Outcome tracking and reporting
