Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic mental health practice as a Private Practice Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ASW), where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to diverse clients. You will work closely with licensed supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mental health services, including individual, group, couples, and family therapy. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify needs and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches such as behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, and trauma-specific interventions. Provide individual, group, couples, and family counseling sessions focused on child & youth therapy, marriage & family therapy, and behavioral health issues. Implement treatment strategies grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles when appropriate for clients with developmental or behavioral needs. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure continuity of care for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Conduct patient care activities such as patient assessment, diagnosis, progress evaluation, and adjustment of treatment plans as needed. Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and best practices in mental health counseling. Experience Current enrollment or licensure as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Associate Social Worker (ASW). Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, child & family counseling, or trauma-specific interventions is preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical terminology, and electronic health records systems. Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and diagnostic evaluation procedures. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in a compassionate manner. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients across age groups and presenting complex concepts clearly. Commitment to ethical standards such as HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality throughout all patient interactions. Pay:
