Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist / Clinician-Builder Guidepost Marriage Therapy, INC. - 5.0 Redding, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time Up to $65 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Continuing education credits Paid time off Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Teamwork Program development Licensed Clinical Social Worker Experience working with individuals with autism Experience working with children Full Job Description Associate or Licensed Therapist / Clinician-BuilderAdults, Couples, Teens, Families & Neurodivergent-Informed Care Guidepost Counseling for Wellness Redding, CA In-person | W-2 employment Guidepost Counseling for Wellness is hiring associate and licensed clinicians who want more than a caseload. We are a neurodivergent-informed therapy practice serving adults, couples, kids, teens, parents, and families. We work with ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, emotional dysregulation, parenting stress, school stress, relationship conflict, overwhelm, and life transitions. We are looking for clinicians who want to grow clinically, serve clients well, and help build clearer treatment pathways for the people we serve. This is not the right role if you only want to show up, see clients, and work completely independently. This may be the right role if you want strong supervision, clinical growth, team connection, high standards, and the opportunity to help build meaningful programs over time. We are hiring for several clinical lanes Strong candidates may have interest in one or more of these areas: Adults with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, or life transitions Couples and relationship repair Neurodivergent couples or ADHD-impacted relationships Teens and young adults Kids and parent-child work Parenting support and family systems ADHD and executive functioning Autism and neurodivergent-informed care Trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, ART, Brainspotting, EMDR, or somatic work Groups, workshops, intensives, or structured programs You do not need to already be a specialist. But you do need to want to become one. This role may be for you if: You want to build toward 25+ completed client sessions per week once ramped. You want supervision, consultation, and clinical development. You are willing to be challenged and supported. You complete documentation because you understand that the clinical record is part of client care. You communicate early when something is unclear, stuck, behind, or not working. You want to help improve programs, workflows, groups, workshops, intensives, or treatment pathways over time. You care about your clients, your team, your community, and the reputation of the profession. This role is probably not for you if: You are looking for a light caseload of 10-15 clients long-term. You want flexibility without ownership. You dislike documentation, deadlines, policies, or shared clinical standards. You tend to go quiet when something is not working. You want everything fully built before you are willing to participate. You prefer to work completely independently without contributing to a team culture. We do not expect perfection. We do expect ownership, communication, follow-through, and collaboration. What you will do As a Guidepost clinician, you will: Provide therapy based on your clinical lane, scope, training, and licensure status. Work with adults, couples, teens, kids, parents, or families depending on fit. Build toward 25+ completed client sessions per week once ramped. Complete progress notes within 24 hours . Keep treatment plans and required clinical records current. Participate in supervision, consultation, and treatment-team rhythms. Communicate early when a client, case, schedule, note, or system is becoming stuck. Collaborate with admin and clinical leadership to improve client care and continuity. Support parent, partner, or family involvement when clinically appropriate. Help strengthen Guidepost's clinical pathways, programs, workshops, or specialty services over time. Our culture Guidepost is working to build a culture of relational connection, emotional safety, ownership, and leading well. That means we support each other, ask questions, make problems visible early, repair when something misses, notice good work, and hold standards without humiliation. We do not do gossip, chronic cynicism, or unnecessary drama. We do expect honest feedback, direct communication, emotional maturity, and systems-focused problem solving. We are not finished building this culture. That is why we need people who want to help build it and carry it.
