ASAP Overview As a Therapist at Catalyst Cares Empowerment Center, you'll provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You'll facilitate individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote sustained recovery and emotional well-being in our outpatient program.

//ccempowers.com/ Responsibilities Therapeutic Interventions Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in an outpatient treatment setting. Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to support clients' recovery. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing substance use, co-occurring disorders, and emotional well-being. Facilitate process groups, psychoeducational sessions, and relapse-prevention workshops. Assessment and Treatment Planning Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health and substance use treatment needs. Formulate diagnoses and treatment goals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaboration and Coordination Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss client progress and update treatment plans. Collaborate with the medical director, case managers, and other team members to ensure holistic care. Coordinate with community partners and family members as appropriate to support clients' recovery. Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Adhere to all confidentiality regulations and ethical guidelines established by licensing boards. Stay current on best practices and continuing education to enhance clinical skills. Required Skills/Abilities Licensed or registered as LMFT, AMFT, LCSW, ACSW, LPCC, or APCC in the state of California. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation. Annual TB testing is a mandatory requirement for this position. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in outpatient or inpatient settings. Experience working with children and adults (Medi-Cal) population Certification or additional training in addiction counseling or trauma-informed therapy. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
