Savio will pay for training for therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy. Description MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth 12-17 who are exhibiting delinquent type behaviors such as running away, substance use, defiance, aggression, and truancy. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families' homes and in the community. This position provides in-home services for the Grand Junction, CO area. Learn more about this treatment model at https://www.mstservices.com/ What does an MST therapist do? Maintain small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families. Conduct therapy in the community, in family's homes.

Use the following theories:

CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies. Prevent out of home placement/incarceration. Break cycle of system involvement Empower families to create lasting change Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment. Requirements:
Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

Master's in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field Bachelors with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC
