Summary We-re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our experienced team of clinicians at Windham Hospital Rehabilitation Network. We provide a vital core of inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, and emergency services in a caring and personal community setting in Northeastern Connecticut. Description A clinically competent Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for planning, assessing, interpreting and implementing treatment programs according to the need of age specific categories of patients and as medically prescribed for our inpatient and/or outpatient patients. Effectively interacts and communicates with patients, families, and other health team members, according to the principles, ethics, practices and standards of professional therapy practice.   • Clinical specialty and senior clinician opportunities Qualifications Minimum Requirements Equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
CT Occupational Therapist (OT) active or temporary license. CPR certification. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be flexible, a team player and able to work efficiently in a hectic environment. Works efficiently and organizes time appropriately. Ability to prioritize daily work assignments. Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information. Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use). Proficient skills in windows based software (including word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation programs). Working knowledge of Sate Practice Act and Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations. Problem Solving and Decision Making Requires the ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction. Requires high level of analytical ability in order to gather and interpret information from various sources. Able to take the appropriate action in response to changes, circumstances or problems. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
