Primary Therapist - Adult Programs (Full-Time, Salaried) Peace Club |
Brevard County, FL Salary:
Competitive + Benefits (Health, PTO, Fully Furnished Office) Peace Club is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and mission-driven Primary Therapist to join our adult clinical programs. This full-time, salaried role carries a 25-30 hour/week direct service caseload and requires 1-3 evenings per week . You'll provide individual, group, and family therapy; complete assessments and treatment plans; respond to crises; and maintain same-day documentation in our electronic record system. You'll work closely with clinical leadership to uphold DCF, CARF, and FARR standards and ensure exceptional client care. What You'll Do- Provide individual, group, and family therapy within Adult Day/Night, IOP, and OP programs.
- Conduct clinical assessments, intake interviews, treatment plans, and ongoing reviews.
- Maintain
- same-day documentation
- and ensure compliance with DCF timelines.
- Participate in crisis intervention, safety planning, and client support.
- Lead psychoeducation and process groups; cover groups as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure CARF, DCF, and FARR compliance.
- Assist with discharge planning, discharge summaries, and Utilization Management needs.
- Support accreditation preparation and ongoing quality improvement efforts.
- Perform urinalysis and other program-required tasks following regulatory standards. What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
- Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or active provisional license.
- Experience in mental health and substance use treatment ;
OUD/PTSD
experience preferred.- Training or certification in EMDR or other evidence-based trauma modalities strongly preferred.
- Experience with CARF or Joint Commission -accredited settings is a plus.
- Strong clinical judgment, professional boundaries, and collaborative communication style.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-forward, growth-oriented environment .
