Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and inform individualized treatment plans. Develop and implement targeted treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery, particularly for PTSD and related disorders. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing processes. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an interactive environment where clients can share their experiences and develop effective coping strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated and holistic care tailored to each patient's needs. Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate care. Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them throughout their recovery journey. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are struggling with its lasting effects. Our clients may include victims of abuse, natural disasters, accidents, or other forms of trauma that have severely impacted their mental health. By adopting a trauma-informed approach, you will help clients gain the skills necessary to process their experiences and navigate their recovery with resilience. Qualifications A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida. At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably within a trauma-focused setting. In-depth knowledge and expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. Proven ability to administer trauma-focused therapeutic interventions effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy. Capability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress scenarios. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using common computer applications. Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and establishing therapeutic rapport with clients. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
