Job Overview Flourish Counseling is expanding into an additional space, and we're seeking fully or temporarily licensed mental health therapists to grow with us. We're especially interested in clinicians who enjoy group therapy or want to develop their group facilitation skills. As we work toward launching an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), new team members will have opportunities to help shape programming alongside their individual therapy work. Responsibilities Provide individual therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches within your training and scope of practice. Maintain 28 available client appointment slots per week , with an expectation of averaging 25 completed sessions weekly . Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record. Facilitate or co-facilitate therapy groups and contribute to the development of our planned IOP. Assess safety concerns and provide appropriate intervention, consultation, and referrals. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and clinical consultation. Provide in-person and telehealth services as appropriate. Participate in community engagement opportunities, including local outreach and tabling events. Required Qualifications A master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or another field that qualifies you for licensure as a mental health therapist. An active Iowa license authorizing clinical practice, including a qualifying temporary license. LMSWs and tLMHCs are welcome to apply. A commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills. A collaborative approach, willingness to receive feedback, and ability to take initiative. Interest in providing group therapy and participating in future IOP services. Preferred Qualifications Experience facilitating or co-facilitating therapy groups. Experience in an IOP or another structured treatment program.
