Whole Mind and Body Care is a multi-location group private practice serving communities in Kansas and Missouri. We are a professional, adaptable, and encouraging team committed to fostering a culture where individuals, couples, and families can move toward comprehensive health and wellness. Our mission is to help people intentionally create the lives they want by strengthening connection—to themselves, to others, and to the world around them. We do this through integrative, relational approaches, ongoing education, and active advocacy. We honor the inherent value and dignity of every person. Removing obstacles to care is central to our work, and we strive to ensure our services are accessible to all. We believe everyone deserves affordable, high-quality mental health care that respects and responds to diverse experiences and needs.
Our work environment offers:
Modern office spaces Opportunities for work-from-home days Casual dress A supportive, low-pressure culture Company perks An energetic, collaborative atmosphere We are currently hiring part-time and/or full-time psychotherapists to join our growing team. With five office locations—Olathe, Ottawa, Overland Park, Liberty, and Leavenworth—we also offer hybrid options. This is a W-2 position. Our goal is to provide simplicity and flexibility so you can spend your time doing what you do best: providing excellent therapy, rather than managing the stress of running a business. It's About Something Bigger We believe in committing to a shared mission, vision, and values that extend beyond any one individual. Our aim is to build a strong clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional services within our communities. As an insurance-based practice, we prioritize making mental health care accessible to as many people as possible. We are seeking counselors who are genuine, grounded, and eager to be part of a supportive organization. At Fortis, you have the freedom to practice in a way that aligns with your clinical orientation and personal strengths. We trust that authenticity leads to better outcomes and therefore do not confine therapists to rigid models or arbitrary session limits. We are intentional about preventing burnout. We strive to align clinicians with clients who fit their specialties and passions, creating meaningful and sustainable therapeutic relationships. You'll receive support for your clinical growth, along with collaboration when you feel stuck or simply need space to process. Let's Be Transparent Fortis is an insurance-based group practice—not a private-pay model. This means we may not offer the highest compensation in the market, but we are also far from the lowest. We provide competitive rates paired with significant administrative and clinical support. We are continually reviewing compensation structures with the goal of increasing pay whenever possible. Being insurance-based allows us to provide a steady, reliable referral stream along with flexibility and stability. For clinicians who engage well and retain clients, we can consistently build and maintain full caseloads. If your primary goal is securing the absolute highest salary available, we may not be the best fit. But if you value stability, support, and meaningful work, you may find your professional home here. Join Our Team We are excited to continue growing our team of therapists who are ready to learn, stretch, and pursue excellence together. We are committed for the long term and are looking for clinicians who share that commitment. Job Summary The Therapist provides direct counseling services within a private practice setting, offering individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients navigating everyday stressors, major life transitions, crises, and complex emotional concerns. Working with children of all ages is a must for this position Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing individual, couples, and family therapy, planning for discharge or ongoing care, and maintaining accurate, ethical, and timely clinical documentation. Is This the Right Fit? We recognize this is a detailed overview—but we believe transparency matters. We are not seeking short-term hires or individuals primarily motivated by minor pay increases. We are looking for clinicians who want to be part of a cohesive team and contribute to something meaningful. If this resonates with you, we'd love to connect.
