Valley Mental Health is an outpatient psychiatric practice looking to bring on a therapist to help care for our diverse client population. We care for clients with a wide range of needs, from serious mental illness to more benign conditions

Position Overview:

This is a part time, in person position starting 1 day per week with the ability for some remote work that will allow you to make your own hours. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in our mission to promote well-being and resilience within our community. You will provide counseling services to clients of diverse backgrounds and ages, addressing a wide range of issues such as mental health, family dynamics, trauma, and more.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices. Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources within the community. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in social work and therapy.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. State licensure as a LICSW or LMHC(we do not have opportunity for supervision). Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence to work effectively with diverse populations.
