Job Description

Child and Adolescent Therapist Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our friendly, woman- and psych NP-owned practice. This role involves providing specialized mental health support to children and youth, working closely with clients and their families to foster emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a supportive environment that prioritizes work-life balance and family values. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young clients through evidence-based psychotherapy and client communication. Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions with children and adolescents experiencing mental health conditions Collaborate with families to develop treatment plans that support the child's emotional and psychological needs Provide psychotherapy tailored to the developmental stage of each client Maintain clear, professional clinical documentation of sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care Manage a caseload of clients while adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in child and adolescent mental health Qualifications Valid licensure as an independent therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent) Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a mental health setting Strong skills in psychotherapy techniques suitable for youth populations Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and their families Ability to maintain thorough clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards A friendly, empathetic approach with a commitment to fostering a positive therapeutic environment Join our supportive practice where your expertise can help children and teens thrive. Pay:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour
