INTAKE THERAPIST

Requirements:

Master's Degree specializing in psychology, social work, or guidance and counseling License issued by LARA 18 months experience with direct treatment services to children or adults in a behavioral health inpatient or outpatient setting Knowledge of diagnostics, psychopharmacology, and supportive treatment approaches applied SED children, SMI adults and/or individuals with

SUD MCBAP CAADC

(may initiate during hire process)

INTAKE THERAPIST

Responsibilities (not all inclusive): Complete assigned Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessment Formulate preliminary DSM five-axis diagnosis Identify issues that may exist regarding safety (personal and environmental), suicide risk, natural supports, and community involvement Identify referrals needed for comprehensive treatment Identify case management needs Obtain releases of information for coordination of care, including primary care physician, past treatment episodes, etc. Pay is based upon years of related experience . Full license provides additional compensation.
