Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated in-person Licensed or Associate-level Mental Health Counselors to join our team in Kinston, NC. In this role, you will support patients with mental health challenges, assisting them in their recovery journey. You will work closely with families, mental health professionals, and various stakeholders to implement treatment plans and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients. Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments and monitor patient progress. Provide direct care and support to patients from ages 5 to 100. Facilitate therapy sessions, including behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic policies. Engage patients in therapeutic activities that promote emotional well-being and recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment effectiveness. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in mental health care. Requirements A full license or associate-level license in mental health counseling is required (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and children, is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding towards individuals facing mental health challenges.
