Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support and therapy for a young client aged 7 years old in the 27298 area. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT will work closely with the child to promote skill development, reduce challenging behaviors, and support overall progress in a safe and nurturing environment. The position offers flexible scheduling, with sessions scheduled on weekdays and availability for make-up sessions on Saturdays. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions as outlined in the client's treatment plan. Conduct therapy sessions with the child, focusing on skill acquisition, communication, socialization, and adaptive behaviors. Collect data during sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Collaborate with supervising BCBA to ensure consistent and effective intervention strategies. Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment during all sessions. Communicate effectively with caregivers regarding session updates, progress, and any concerns. Adhere to all ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards related to client care. Experience Prior experience working with children, particularly around age 7, is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Certification as an RBT or willingness to obtain certification is necessary. Strong interpersonal skills and patience are essential for working effectively with young children and their families. Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement behavior plans consistently. Availability to work approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 3:45 pm to 6:45 pm, with additional availability for make-up sessions on Saturdays. Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
