Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based practices, trauma-focused therapy, and innovative treatment approaches in both outpatient and telehealth settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and trauma-focused approaches. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records, progress notes, treatment planning, and clinical research data collection. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs. Utilize EMR/EHR systems for patient care documentation and ensure adherence to clinical documentation standards. Provide specialized support for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, grief issues, chronic pain, or addiction challenges. Experience Proven experience working with children, youth and families in clinical or outpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work practices, and evidence-based treatments. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering clinical services remotely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics or pediatrics is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to mental health assessments and treatment planning.
