Job Description
Job Summary Stepping Stones Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our teamwho has a desire to work with youth. Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) given preference, but Licensed Associate Professional Counselors (LAPC) and Licensed Masters Social Workers (LMSW) are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to clients through various therapeutic modalities. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing and recovery. Stepping Stones Counseling is looking for an individual passionate about working with youth in a variety of age ranges. The Mental Health Therapist will work collaboratively with clients and their families to assess their needs and provide direct support. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide clinical counseling using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities. Implement crisis management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in distress. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and adherence to ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with other professionals in the community to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Provide direct support to clients in navigating their mental health challenges and achieving their therapeutic goals. Providing support for families/caregivers in helping them navigate the client's mental health and how they can best support them.
