Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough assessments for couples and families, followed by developing tailored treatment plans that align with our clients' unique needs. Providing individual therapy sessions for family members as required, effectively addressing personal mental health issues while fostering family cohesion. Specializing in a variety of therapeutic challenges including, but not limited to: alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, blended family dynamics, and issues surrounding separation and divorce. Facilitating open communication and resolution strategies among family members to address conflicts, support adjustment to changes, and enhance relational dynamics. Utilizing telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring high-quality care is delivered regardless of geographic barriers. Regularly documenting sessions to track progress, update treatment goals, and collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will encompass working with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults seeking support for various mental health challenges. This requires a deep understanding of family systems and the complexities of interpersonal relationships. By focusing on both individual and family dynamics, you will play a crucial role in fostering healthier communication patterns and resolving conflicts within family units. Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following: A current and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) recognized in the state of Nevada. A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline is required. Compensation and Benefits The Community Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of
