We are excited to grow our team and are seeking a Intern Therapist who is passionate about meaningful clinical work and wants to be part of a supportive, mission-driven practice. Due to the community demand, we are particularly looking for a muslim background intern willing to learn and grow. Position Overview Part-time or full-time Hybrid role : In-office sessions in Mason/Cincinnati, OH + remote telehealth Ideal for interns seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a collaborative team culture Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults (based on your preference and experience) Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely, ethical, and accurate clinical documentation Utilize evidence-based modalities to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, grief, and co-occurring concerns Support clients in building coping skills, emotional regulation, and long-term growth Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community providers as appropriate Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field Active in the internship year for therapist degree in grad school. Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations or strong willingness to learn. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality Strong passion to work and grow with a dynamic and flexible team long term. Our goal is to transition the intern to a fully capable therapist with increased responsibilities and higher title. Preferred Skills & Experience Training or experience in trauma-informed care Comfort treating anxiety, depression, OCD, panic, grief, and mood disorders (training provided as needed) Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EHR systems and willingness to learn Ability to work independently while valuing collaboration and consultation/supervision Desire to grow clinically within a supportive group practice Why Join Sukoon Psychotherapy?
