Sage Counseling Group is a Private Mental & Behavioral Health Practice looking for an in-person mental health therapist (Part-Time- 1099) for in office and telehealth. Benefits Salary:

$40.00-$50.00 per billable hour Semi Flexible schedule Responsibilities The therapist will support the patient's well-being by providing mental health assessments and treatment; providing resources; educating clients; and maintaining patient records.

•Must be comfortable working with children Assesses patient mental status and problems by interviewing patients; obtaining personal information and medical history; consulting with other professionals Designs and implements treatment plans by evaluating patient's willingness to change; setting treatment objectives; tailoring approach to patient's needs; consulting with other professionals; providing brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention and/or personal counseling utilizing individual, couples and conjoint family treatment modalities Maintains patient records by following protocols; entering and updating data; maintaining case history and progress notes Protects mental health center's value by keeping patient information confidential, adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements Mental Health, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Patient Services, Documentation Skills, Analyzing Information, Listening, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Confidentiality, Professionalism, Connecting with Children Preferred Experience Proven experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient or inpatient settings within behavioral health or mental health clinics. Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and art or dance therapy. Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and social work principles applicable to diverse populations. Familiarity with medical documentation standards including

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems for accurate diagnosis recording. Knowledge of telehealth platforms and delivering clinical counseling via telehealth is advantageous.
