Mental Health Professional (MHP) Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center - Bedford, PA The Opportunity Join a dedicated interdisciplinary team providing intensive, year-round therapeutic support in a day-program setting for children and adolescents (ages 5-21). Our program focuses on clients who require significant support but remain at home, with a requirement that those 18 and older are enrolled in school full-time. Why Join NDTC? 1.

Collaborate daily with our Mental Health Workers, Director, and Teachers. 3.

Training Provided:
We provide specialized training in crisis management and de-escalation to ensure you are equipped to intervene safely. Essential Responsibilities 1.
Clinical Direction:
Develop and update Treatment Plan (TP) objectives and provide clinical input for 20-day treatment reviews. 2.
Therapeutic Support:
Facilitate individual and family therapy, as well as lead "in-the-moment" therapeutic interventions within the classroom. 3.
Crisis Leadership:
Lead and assist the team in de-escalating client crises as they occur. 4.
Case Management:
Act as the primary liaison for service coordination with families, school districts, and outside agencies (CYS/Juvenile Probation). 5.
Documentation:
Complete admission intakes and maintain precise, objective clinical records. Qualifications 1.
Education:
Master's degree in a social service or education field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, etc.). 2.
Experience:
At least one year of experience working with children and families. 3.
Requirements:
Must be able to obtain Act 33 (Child Abuse), Act 34 (Criminal Record), and FBI Clearances. 4.
Skills:
Strong clinical writing skills and a desire to work with children facing mental and behavioral health challenges.
